• Young people’s drug use and allied responses
• National and international drug policy

In general, I am most interested to be involved in research that
a) is likely to enhance the health and well-being of drug users
b) respects the human rights of drug users c) is concerned with
young people's healthy development within a drug using society d)
contributes to an evidence-based approach to drug policy.
I work part-time as Director of Research for KCA:
a community drug treatment service working across the UK that originated
in in South East England.
Current academic affiliations include:

Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
The European
Institute for Social Services, University of Kent.
